We have bought and sold many homes, vacation homes, and rental properties over the years, and I think it is a rarity to walk away from a real estate transaction and believe your agent did the best they could for you. We truly believe this of Dan. And if I have not said enough about Dan, I’ll end with this final note: We will soon be helping my mother look for property in the area, and Dan is the first person we are going to call.

Dan was my agent for the purchase of my NC cottage. He's very knowledgeable about the area and recommended excellent inspectors during the due diligence process. If you buy in the Cashiers/Highlands area I would recommend getting both a septic and water pump test done if the home has a well.  Kathryn, Dan's assistant, was also great to work with. She went out of her way for me to measure so I could order the correct appliances. Dan and the closing agent worked quickly to do a short closing for me. The entire team at Silver Creek Realty is outstanding.
